sorry for double-commenting, i just checked up on my camera [also a Nikon Coolpix .... most likely cheaper vers. than yours though ^^"] and all my images turn cooler in tone when I set the white balance to Incandescent. this is when using daylight as the ONLY light source.

oh, hmmm i didnt notice that. it's probably cuz i have really skinny forearms too but yea, i think i'll fix that. thanks for the critique! and i'll definitely try taking more photos in different settings i was in a kinda rush

check the white balance of your camera.
You probably have it set to some artificial light setting. In daylight, the artificial white-balance setting will turn your photos blue-ish.
